    Glycerol valorization

    Glycerol is a biomass-derived C3 platform of central importance, being readily available as the main waste of the production of biodiesel. My project focuses on its sustainable transformation into lactates, acrylates, and other added-value derivatives over tailored zeolite and metal-based multifunctional catalysts.
